Celebrate the release of Marvel‘s historic Black Panther in style. Come the Revolution & Ujima Radio 98fm present a night of ‘Black and proud’ floor fillers ranging between soul, funk, acrobat, house and reggae at Bristol’s new music venue Rough Trade Bristol on  Friday 16th Feb 2018 doors 8pm -12am.

Dress up as your favourite superhero, alter ego by wearing costumes and /or traditional clothing. Let’s bring Wakanda the home of T’challa the Black Panther to Bristol. Wakanda rocks will also feature projections of your favourite Black comic characters and a display of Black themed graphic novels and merchandise provided by Bristol independent comic store Excelsior. DJ’s on the night in DJ Style (Code of the Streets).

***Open to all Panther lovers but cinema goers to Thursday’s special Odeon screening receive a discount when presenting a ticket.***

Come the Revolution is a Bristol and Birmingham based collective of Black artists, curators, and programmers supported by Film Hub South West and Watershed, part of the BFI Film Audience Network, awarding funds from the National Lottery.

Establish as A monthly resident night back in 2004 @ Cosies Wine Bar, Code of the Streets has grown into Bristol phenomenon amongst like minded ravers.

This year will mark the 14th Anniversary making it one of Bristol longest running RnB /Hip Hop/ Old School nights out. So be get ready and join in with the celebration on…
