As we welcome in the new decade and I would like to thank everyone who’s been supporting me over the year either by listening to the radio show, supported my mixtape, cds and attended our events. This loyalty is always appreciated, and never taken for granted I am grateful to still be involved in this scene, and would like to wish you all prosperous 2020. I leave you with the final Code of the Streets show of 2019 as a gift for the new dawn.

As part of our final Iconic Hip Hop producer feature for Black History Month on Code of the Streets we decide to pay homage to Dr Dre with a special mix. Also on the show was special guest DJ Lynx one of Bristol’s formidable Hip Hop DJ’s from the mid 80’s playing venues throughout Bristol, touring with 3PM & working with producers Smith n Mighty. Also being amongst the original DJ’s to be on early Pirate Bristol Station B.A.D Radio, and eventually cementing a regularly spot on Galaxy Radio with the 3PM Experience Show.

The latest in series of promo mixes marking Code of the Streets final event of 2019 on Sat 16th Nov @ Basement 45 ‘The End Of Year Dance’. The Freshblood Crew’s very own Mikie Rods puts down a smooth selection of Soul & RnB selection for the grown & sexy, join him live in the mix in Room One on the night. From the 80’s Freshblood have been a significant part of Bristol’s music scene from there open air parties in Bedminster, Kingswood & Eastville Park with international act PM Dawn heading the stage. They have a performed alongside the likes of De La Soul, Maxi Priest, Omar, & Naughty By Nature, and have there own recorded material that has took them touring around the world as well producing for other artists that have gone to on achieve successful music careers.
