CODE OF THE STREETS BACK ON AIR Sat 1st AUGUST

The hiatus is over, with the return of Code of the Streets to the airwaves.
Bristol institute radio show, “Code of the Streets,” has been broadcasting on the Award-Winning station Ujima Radio, for the last 18 years in its recognized time slot 8-10pm Saturday night. From its launch, the show has played an instrumental part in supporting emerging talent from the city, as well as linking with international artists and connecting to a worldwide audience. Former guests on the programme have included: Wyclef Jean, RnB singer Brandy, Bobby Valentino, Carleen Anderson (Young Disciple & Brand New Heavies), Omar, Big Narstie and Hip Hop legend Kurtis Blow, Anthony Hamilton, TV personality Shaun Wallace from ITV Chase, and many more.
After taking a short break from the airwaves, Code of the Streets returns this weekend Sat 1st Aug, resuming with the usual fire tracks, exclusives, underground  Hip Hop & RnB acts, emerging talent, and world-renowned artists. This year also marks the 21st Anniversary, of the residency club night, combining two institutions making their mark on Bristol’s music & club scene legacy.
