St Paul’s Grassroots celebration returned on Sat 4th July, in response of the official Carnival being canceled. Community members came together to stage a day of activities, entertainment, live performance, food & sound system.
Davey Street, is the designated location of the Old School ravers, and the reunion spot for friends who grew up in Bristol, attending Bristol’s music scene. Here’s footage of DJ Style & General live on the day.
Today’s the day, with the return of St Paul’s Grassroots celebrations. Join a host of entertainers from 12pm-10pm. Soul Central, Davey Street, St Paul’s BS2 9LX. MATURE Events is building up on the next event, the public have been invited to help select the line up, by suggesting DJ’s to perform. The date is now confirm and further details will be released from the website WEBSITE.

BRISTORY PODCAST launches its radio series on Tues 21st April, on Ujima Radio. In Episode One, we will be looking into Bristol’s Hip Hop scene from Sound Systems to DJ Crews in the 80’s.
