Film Screening Beyond The Scars: Guy Bailey Imapact on Bristol

Bristol museum will be premiering  a new documentary  of Bristol pioneer Guy Bailey , one of the Bristol’s Bus Boycott pioneers.

This event will feature a screening of the film Beyond The Scars, followed by a Q+A and panel discussion featuring Jacqui Wilson, Dr Marie-Annick Gournet of UWE, Clive Smith, and Dr Guy Bailey OBE himself, moderated by Rodney Wilson.

There will then be a performance by singer-songwriter and poet Nia Bimkubwa, followed by music from DJ Style and Donovan City Rockas, and food provided by Nadines Caribbean Cafe. Grab your tickets from link below. TICKETS

 

 

We Rise new power anthem from Bristol, Out Now.

Today sees the release of ‘We Rise’ recorded by collective of young Bristol artists from ACE C.I.C. The song was Inspired by the 60th anniversary of the Bristol Bus Boycott. This powerful Anthem, We Rise, aims to inspire a future built on the principles championed by those who took part in the original Bristol Bus Boycott in 1963.
